Founder & Chief Executive Officer

David is an international, pan-African strategic communications advisor working at the intersection of reputation, capital, policy and market expansion.

He has advised:

  • government and public-sector initiatives

on positioning, stakeholder engagement, media relations, crisis communication and multi-country campaign execution.

With experience spanning Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom, David previously served in senior roles within globally recognised communications firms, where he led pan-African briefs for international clients across multiple sectors.

He divides his time across key African markets, bringing: continental perspective, in-market intelligence and direct senior-level engagement to every client assignment.

Tosin Balogun

Head of Strategy

Tosin Balogun is a multidisciplinary strategy leader focused on how organisations win at the intersection of culture, innovation and business transformation. Over the past decade, he has led strategy and innovation mandates within global networks including Dentsu, Publicis, Leo Burnett and WPP, driving growth for leading brands such as Heineken, Uber, Netflix, YouTube, PepsiCo, EABL, Standard Bank and CAF.

His work spans brand positioning, market expansion, integrated growth strategy and creative transformation across African and international markets. Tosin is also a recognised thought leader and educator, contributing to global industry platforms, facilitating brand and marketing strategy programmes, and co-founding Brandversations Africa, a community advancing strategic marketing dialogue across the continent.
At Disrupt, he leads enterprise, narrative and market strategy for cross-border mandates.

Lilian Imoni

Director, Client Relations & Projects

Lilian Imoni is a client strategy and project delivery specialist with close to a decade of experience managing brands, executive visibility programmes and multi-stakeholder initiatives across Africa. She is the Managing Partner at Reputable & Platforms, an international executive PR and reputation management firm, where she advises C-suite leaders, founders and high-growth organisations on strategic positioning through global and pan-African media.

Her cross-sector experience spans fintech, media, hospitality, events and development programmes, with previous leadership roles at Pearl Awards, AWLO and CITC, where she drove sponsorship, corporate communications, monitoring and evaluation, and brand strategy.

At Disrupt, she leads client engagement and project execution, ensuring complex mandates are delivered with precision, consistency and measurable impact.

Samuel O. Adeyemi

Regional lead, Media Strategy

Samuel O. Adeyemi is a reputation management and strategic communications leader with experience spanning public policy, trade, media and integrated marketing across Africa and the global diaspora. He is the Founder and CEO of Media DNA, where he advises purpose-driven organisations and public- and private-sector institutions on influence, visibility and market positioning.

Samuel serves as Communication Lead for the Global Opportunities Committee of the Atlanta Black Chambers, driving cross-border trade, investment dialogue and business expansion across 35 countries. He is also the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and a policy contributor to the Nigerian Economic Summit Group.

His work includes major election campaigns, global trade missions and high-level economic forums, positioning institutions for credibility, partnerships and growth.

Demola Adeshola

Non-Executive Director & Head of Brands & Strategy

Demola [Surname] is a brand and marketing communications strategist with over a decade of experience shaping corporate, technology and financial services brands in Nigeria. He has led positioning, narrative development and integrated brand programmes for organisations including Access Bank, Remita (SystemSpecs), Inlaks, TeamApt, Precise Financial Systems and other high-growth and institutional platforms.

He previously served as Account Director at SO&U, where he managed major client portfolios and contributed to award-winning campaigns. Beyond consulting, he is the founder of The Brief Faculty, a mentorship platform that has developed more than 200 emerging Marcomms professionals across Africa. A TED-licensed curator for TEDxIkeja, Demola brings board-level guidance on brand strategy, institutional positioning and platform growth at Disrupt.

Thelma

Senior Consultant, Client Management

Thelma is a client management and programme coordination specialist with cross-border experience spanning the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Kenya. She brings a strong track record in senior stakeholder engagement, portfolio oversight and the structuring of investment opportunities for high-net-worth individuals.

Her background includes work across asset management and capital markets, with a solid understanding of the global institutional investment landscape and its relevance to African growth markets. This enables her to align communications programmes with investor priorities, funding processes and long-term strategic objectives.
